Ode to a good dog-BISS A/C Ch. Keltic’s Larah Selene, JH, SH, MH

There are often dogs in a dog person’s life that are important, dogs that never belonged to you or lived with you but whose passing leaves a hole in your heart.   Sweet Lena was one of those dogs.  Lena was the litter sister of my beloved Woo (who I still miss every day).  Lena always belonged to my wonderful  friends and mentors Linda and Kevin Flynn of Keltic.  I still remember the photos and the offer from them to pick either of the two girls, because the were going to keep which ever one I didn’t choose.  Miss Pink became Windy and Miss Teal became Lena.

Lena was lovely and smart and very much a Diva like her sister.   I was so glad she allowed me sleep in her bed for a couple of weeks last fall.  I enjoyed every bed hogging night. 

Lena, like Windy gave me so much and I’ll miss her even from far away.  My heart hurts for my friends who loved her so.

Rest well sweet Lena Peru, I know you and your sister are Diva-ing it up at the Rainbow Bridge.
