Match Play on a lovely spring day

Today was the El Paso GSD club’s Fun match and what a lovely day.  The 1st day of spring proved to be a warm one here in El Paso in the low 80s. The match was held the El Dorado Kennels and we had a nice place in the shade to park and set up.

The GSD club offered Conformation, Obedience and Rally.  They also offered the baby puppy class so the poopies went along for the ride and FiFi got to play show dog and won a fun toy as BPIM.  I also showed Banner and Sienna and Cody had Charlie and Bonnie in Obedience and Rally. Cody’s mom went along with Ginger, Cody and I and we had a good time.  We also got to hang out with our Rally Buddy Conny and her lab Jake.  It was their 1st foray into competition and they did great getting 1st place in Pre Novice and Rally Novice A.  Cody and Charlie got 2nd in Novice A and Rally Advanced A and Bonnie got a 2nd in Rally Novice B.  The GSD club also put on a nice lunch for all the exhibitors.
