Labor Day

September 1, 2008

Finally the yard is back in control!  The dogs and I got the agility equipment back out.  After the wet and rainy summer everything will still need a power wash and some stuff needs re-painted but at least we can play in the yard again.

The dogs had a fun time running in the yards.  I have 3 separate fenced yards and one fenced dog run.   I opened all the gates and let them run.  Wicca loves to RUN and the Cardis love to chase her, they had a blast.

Yard looks a lot different from our Amazon size weed patch of a week ago.

We might be inspired to use the yard now instead of avoiding it and the dogs are so happy too.

The dogs tried out some of the equipment, the tested the dogwalk and the Aframe and ran through the tunnel.
Going down? Going Up?
After all the running we spent some time cooling off.

Not a lot of shade in our big yard but the dogs can always find a patch of shade somewhere.

They love running in the big yard. They aren’t allowed out there when I’m not home because the fence with the wood on it is an “exterior” fence, there is a bakery next door and there is a lot of traffic in that parking lot and I don’t anyone messing with them. So they think the big yard is like Mecca to them.

We don’t have a lot of opportunity to train out here so I’m on my own most of the time. I used to feed Euk and I saved up thru their breeders program and got a tunnel, wing jump and spread jump from J&J most of the other “stuff” I built or got from other local folks. I haven’t trained much in a while, not since Stoney so I’m kind of excited to start again.
