2009 Plans
Just a hint about what is coming up in 2009 for Solstice.
Breeding plans, 1st up is our PJ x Lindy breeding. We are waiting for Lindy to cooperate, I expected her in season in mid November but neither she or Wicca (GSP) have come in season and last time they came in on the same day. I’m hoping now that they cooperate and neither one of comes in until after Christmas which will mean February puppies who would go home in April. 2nd on the list is PJ x Candy, Candy is expected in season sometime in February, Leslie is planning both a Pem and Cardi litter in 2009 so it depends on her girls as to who is 1st. If she has a Pem litter 1st Candy will wait until summer to be bred.
Arylan is expecting a litter on New Years Eve out of the pretty Powell daughter Ali and Oliver www.arylan.com.
I am planning on attending the CWCCA nationals in Topeka, KS in April. Mostly like PJ will be the only dog shown from out kennel but you can’t pass up the nationals.
Our spring show all hinge on Lindy but I think we will get to start off the season in Hobbs, NM like usual.
Of course there also might be a new addition here depending on how Pips girls grow up.
With dogs there is always excitement and challenges to look forward too.
You know that Candy and Cheery will come in on the same day, right?
Wish I could make the Nationals! But making my own pupster plans, and Lizard is due in mid-April.
Yes there is that possibility. Leslie will have have fun.
I hope to see you in KS – we are going to try to make it. I can’t wait to see more PJ pups! He should be a great producer.
I think Jeri meant Candy and Lindy, right, Jeri?
Because I’m quite sure that Candy and Cheery (who live together) will come in within a week of each other. Poor Tag has a few days of, well, she smells better, and a few days of well, the other one smells better, and a few in between that are, well, who do I go after now? (And the answer to that for my Pem boy would be, never the one with the tail, son, never the one with the tail.)
If Candy and Lindy come in at the same time the Alabama branch is going to have to resort to more modern methods of lovin’ for Sir Pork.
