Henry’s retirement
Henry is retired from the show ring. Henry has a lovely pedigree and had a lot of potential as a young dog. He comes from a very slow maturing line of dogs but now at 4 he just hasn’t lived up to his early promise. Henry retires with 9 points including a major.
Henry has been Cerf’ed twice and he is OFA Good. Henry will be neutered in the near future.
Henry will be looking for a new home. He deserves a top dog instead of the 3rd string retired showdog at Solstice.
He will be available to the right home, he is very athletic and has a very sweet nature, he is a sweetheart, we call him Henwy since it fits his personality. So if any hears of a wonderful home for Henry let us know at solsticecwc@gmail.com. There is also additional information about Henry on my webstie www.solsticekennels.com.
I hope you find a great home for that big lug! He’s such a sweetie.
He is a good boy and he isn’t any trouble so we aren’t kicking him out the door :-). I just think he deserves to be a #1 dog and not a #3 or #4 dog.
Aww man, I’m such a big fan of that floppy boy. I was really hoping he’d turn out! If only I had room for another pet, but I’m still waiting for a real show dog myself! I hope whoever takes him, blogs, and takes LOTS of pictures!
Yea me too, it was a hard choice to make because I like the dog so much. He is a good boy but if you want a show dog you have to sometimes make some tough choices. I’ll find him the right place.
Well, shoot, Jinnie. Sorry to hear that. 😦
I love the second picture of Henry! He is such a sweetheart!
I know it is one of my favorites, it is my wall paper on the office computer. A classic Henry moment!
Well SHOOT anyway! I guess not all dogs ‘work out’ to be show dogs. My Sadie didn’t or Oliver. Or Mac for that matter 🙂 My two girls are sitting on just needing one major to finish. Who knows when THAT will be! lol
Hoping you find the perfect home for him!
It was a hard choice to make, I really love the dog, he is cool but since I’ve decided not to use him in my breeding program it is the right choice for him. He can stay until just the right place comes along for him. He isn’t any trouble but I want him to have the best life and that could be somewhere besides here. One of the hard parts about breeding is having to admit that a dog you love isn’t the right dog for your breeding plans.
