The Frost Report
Hey! It’s me Frost! Momma hasn’t let me write on the blog in a long time. But today I haven’t something to say. I’m in school. We are going to Rally class at Dina’s K9 Fun Works http://k9funworks.angelfire.com/training.html. I’m very good. Charlie thinks he is better than me but I know I’m really good. I haven’t been to school since I became a Star puppy. We had fun and Momma says I did really good and that she is going to set up a training area for us to practice in. I got leftover pork chops so I think Rally could be fun.
Anyway hopefully I’ll have more blog time later.
Stay Cool!
Frost out.

Website Updated
I use the blog site for the day to day life of the Solstice Dogs but our home on the web is designed and maintained by our webmaster Justin of Inngate. I finally sent him info to get our site pretty much up to date. Please feel free to visit http://www.solsticekennels.com for additional and more formal information about our dogs.

Dogshow withdrawals
As much as I love summer, I hat summer because I have dogshow withdrawals. Summer in the Southwest involves far travel to cooler or very air conditioned locations, so many time in the summer I save my vacation time for when I can get more “bang for my buck” if you will by not having as much travel time. I miss the dog shows but mostly I miss my friends. Many of the people I care most about are “dog people” so I get to actually see them at show. Even the dogs seem to miss the excitement of the trips.
So to entertain myself here are some random dog show photos from the spring that my Mom took ring side. Not always the best quality but the dogs are looking good .
Ok this isn’t a dog show photo but it makes me laugh, Sienna and her treasures.
Happy 6 month birthday Miss Mandolin
Our littlest girl, Mandy was born on the Winter Solstice and celebrated her 6 month birthday on yesterday on the Summer Solstice. I can’t believe she is 6 months already.
Silly little Miss!
Hot fun in the summer time
It is forecasted to be well over 100 degrees again today and like most days I try and get the garden done early. The dogs like to help, hence the expens around the plants.
This is the kind of help I get……………….
Of course the rest of the gang was scavenging for watermelon remains. If you need anymore proof that they love the watermelon, check out how clean this piece of rind is, the rind is the prize now and they will eat that too.
Isn’t she growning up pretty. Miss Banner (Arylan Flying the Colors at Solstice) at 8 months old.
Happy Father’s day Daddy Dog PJ.
YAPPY Hour!
The little girls went with me on a trip the Farmer’s market today. Last year Frost, Bailey and Charlie did the Market socialization tour, this season it will be Banner and Mandy (and Sienna too). They were very good and a couple of vendors even commented that the “corgis are back”. After a bit of shopping we got out of the heat and came home and spent the rest of the afternoon waiting for the temperature to drop down from a high of 101.
Then it was time for Yappy Hour and Watermelon Saturday. Joy!
To Hot to Walk
Actually it is a game we play with the dolly cart. They all like to ride and I push it up and down the walkway and the all try to ride. This is Banner and Mandy riding and Bailey trying to get her turn. Once 4 of them were on the cart riding. It makes me laugh everytime which is of course why I do it.
