Dewclaws Done
We survived a squeaky trip to the vet to get the babies dewclaws done. Dr. Robin came out with the box and said, “these are pembrokes right” then she laughed! Everyone is pooped.
In like a Lamb
Today was a good day, babies are doing well , gaining weight. Lindy is being a great mom. She is a bit worried when ever I leave the room. Once I was trying to leave and she grabbed my pant leg and wouldn’t let go, as long as I’m in the room she is very calm. I’m sure she will feel more confident in a couple of days. Of course Lindy is looking like the Heidi Klum of dogs, except for the milk bar she looks great!
I’m glad PJ is home, we missed him. Today I put him in charge of Frost, they played most of the day. Miss Frost is being such a good girl with everything going on here. She moved into the big dog kennel last night. I had her in a crate in the bed room but she was hot and not really comfortable so I was worried that she would be scared but the super puppy just took it in stride.

After a trip to the Eclinic, a city wide power outage and just a long day we have the fab five. 3 boys 2 girls. 1 tri boy, the rest are brindle.

The first flight has arrived, we still have at least 2 in the oven 🙂
There are 5 so far, 1 Tri boy and 2 brindle boys and 2 brindle girls.

Our new Dura Whelp box came in today and it may be just in time. Lindy’s tempp is down tonight so we could be looking at puppy arrival. She seem comfortable in her box, I hope she enjoys a good night sleep tonight 🙂
Pup date
3 so far, Tri boy brindle boy and girl, there was a still born tri girl 😦
Is 8 enough?
We did X-ray’s today and Dr. Robin and I counted 8 puppy skulls easily. They were having trouble burning the disc for me so she will email the X-ray and I’ll post it tomorrow and we will see how many you see.
Mr Grumpy
Dear Daddy,
I hope you are having fun with Auntie Leslie and Miss Candy.
Auntie Lindy and Uncle Henry want you to come home to play with me since they say I’m wearing them out. I’m trying to be a good puppy so today I made a new friend.
Yes, I’m now buddies with Mr. Grumpy Stoney. We had so much fun playing in the yard, I chased him around the yard and thru the agility tunnel and then we played in the house until momma made me go to bed. I’m glad to have a new friend to play with.
Always happy to have more friends to chew on!
Austin Trip
For those who don’t know me personally I work for State Farm in the auto claims department. I’m proud of the work I do and have worked there going on 21 years. It is a great company to work for especially in today’s world.
Last year I was nominated and became a finalist for the Silver Spur award in the category for outstanding Customer Service. It is a big deal and they have a Gala event for the finalist and then award a yearly award. This year there were 16 finalist. I didn’t win the big prize the winner had such a great story and track record that I was happy just to be nominated (just like the Oscars).
This year’s Gala was in Austin Texas held at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa, it was a lovely hotel with a fabulous staff, lovely rooms and great food. A wonderful event.

I took my mom as my guest and Saturday and Sunday we spent time with my brother who lives in Austin.
We had a nice time hanging out, we went to the Hula Hut on Lake Austin for lunch, we took a field trip to Whole Foods, the Disneyland for Foodies, and then had brunch prior to leaving at an Austin hangout Kirby Lane. It was a nice visit.
I was glad to get home to the dogs, I really don’t like traveling with out them. Thank goodness I have great friends that help out and allow me to be able to take these trips.
This is the last one for awhile since Lindy babies are just around the corner.
