End of a long day

We are pooped!
As earlier reported Frost did great. We hurried back to get ready for the Megan. PJ didn’t make the cut this year but he showed better than the weekend. Leslie’s June Bug got the same “thank you for showing rosette but they both looked pretty.
The Megan was won by one of my favorites Freddie Mac, a blue boy.
I tried to do live results on FB as it was happening and will try to continue to report but a reminder I have a sweeps puppy so I will do what I can. Wish Banner luck tomorrow.
Rally 2

Yay Frosty! 2nd place for the 2nd leg!
We had fun!
Here are Sherry and Wendi the 1st place winners of Novice B & A. It was Wendi’s and Petals 1st leg.
Rally time

So today the nationals started officially for the Solstice crowd, Frost was entered in Rally Novice B. For those of you on FB you may remember last week I was in a dirther because there were no Rally entries in my confirmation packet. The super told me they were in but when it came time to play our number was not in the judges book. So I was right my entries we just missed by the super. Lucky they got it fixed cause despite not wanting to do a “down” Frosty got her first Rally leg. Yay, Frost!
The big obedience prizes went to Stella and Tonka for HIT and Sherri and Dusty (think it was Dusty) for High Combined.
I don’t know who did what in agility but lots of people were having a good time with their dogs.
Sadly none of the tracking dogs Q’ed.
At the performance dinner the awards chair said there were over 800 Cardigan titles last year, which included a Ch Tracker, High in trials for both OB and Herding a MACH 9 if you can believe that.
It was a good day, here are some photos to prove it.
Spoiled Einie!

Nothing a breeder likes more, a spoiled loved puppy.
Day 2 in Crosby
Fifi and I are sitting the stands waiting for the herding group, there is a delay, we are waiting for a judge to finish a breed so she can judge the group.
Todays results for BOB/BOS were the same with Vivan’s brindle puppy boy taking WD/BW & Best Puppy. A red girl that belongs to Ellie was WB. The selects went to the specials that Cindy B & Vivian were showing. I missed best BBE.
We change gears for Rally tomorrow. I think I will be the only on the grounds tonight. The host club dropped all the ribbons and prizes for the events tomorrow so I have a huge pile of boxed sitting outside the motorhome.
More updares as I know them.
Dog show day 1 and what we are doing now.

Dog show day one comes to an exciting finish with the Cardigan going Best in Show. Wasn’t my Cardigan but the lovely Dickens flying the Cardigan flag. We were ringside to cheer on our breed winner to victory.
On the home front PJ was a crazy boy but he had a good time. Banner won her class which sent her to the winners class. WB was Doris lovely BBE bitch. WD finished today, a dog and kennel I did recognize, G-Whiz? BOS was the lovely girl Sherri Hurst recently handled to Best in Show. Select Dog & Select Bitch went to the two Alaskan dog shown by my new pals Tammy and Sharon, one of which is another BIS winner so we were in company. I wish I had everyones name but I didn’t get a Crosby catalog.
Now everyone is hanging out napping or chewing like Oz. Except me, I am blogging.
Houston we have NO Problem

We arrived safely in Houston or I should say Crosby a little after 3:00PM and were met by Tara and Tim who were happy to finally meet there girl Einie in person. It was also nice of them to help me unload the ex-pens and put up the never easy EZ up.
So we are just chillin for awhile and I will start grooming PJ and Banner soon.
2nd leg

Co-pilot Bailey says let’s get moving.
Roadtrippin

We went farther than the original plan and made it just a few miles west of Sonora, TX. I think we have just over 300 miles to go tomorrow.
The poopies are being good travelers and you can see Bailey is very stressed about the trip.
Tomorrow we make Houston and Einie will meet her new family, it will be a good day.
First Nationals post
Ok a test from the smarty pants smart phone. T-minus 1.5 hours until the start of Nationals trip. Stay tuned for updates!
