Not only the dogs
Ok, not only do I force my dogs to wear goofy holiday hats with me, my Mom gets into the action too.

We went to a UTEP basketball dinner in the Larry K Durham center and wore our reindeer horns. They always make people smile. We smiled because both our Men’s and Women’s teams won that day.
Of course Mom aka Ginger, is at least as goofy as me so the holiday hats aren’t a problem for her either.
The Winter Solstice
In this season of Light and Joy and Love I hope you celebrate your faith, your traditions, your culture and mostly I hope you celebrate all of those you hold close to your heart.
You are all part of my circle and my life is richer, thank you.
Blessed Be to you and yours.

Social Networking
Our world has shrunk so much and also gotten so much bigger. I’ve had such fun with the blog and the blog community. It has been great “meeting” folks that I didn’t know before and now consider them my “friends”. I’ve decided to go one step further and I set up a facebook page. I’m still not sure how best to use it but it is interesting and it has already helped me connect with one of my good friends from my High School days. Check it out it is fun.
Another place to brag about my dogs LOL!
Minus What?

I’m home from Colorado and the visit to the Grandpuppies. I had a great time at Polly’s home. A lovely peaceful place. This is a view from their deck on Saturday. Of course there was a lot more snow by the time I left this morning. We weren’t sure I was going anywhere but it was Ok and Polly got me to the airport.
Of course I was in shock when I found out it was -3 degrees. I don’t know when I was anywhere where it was minus anything.
I did have a new experience with my plane ride home, 1st time I’ve ever been on a plane that had to be de-iced. I don’t fly to cold places very often :-).
Even being cold it was a great trip and worth the chilly weather.
I Promised
I know I promised the final 3 puppy photos but either Polly and I had too much wine with dinner or the puppies just went into wild overdrive and we failed. Actually the lighting was not good and nothing came out very well so I’ll try again in the morning before I head home. If I get to head home, they are calling for a snow storm tonight and tomorrow, I told them NO SNOW so hopefully some one was listening to me.
But since I promised puppy pictures here are a few cute ones from the weekend.

A puppy starburst! I think they got their daddy’s appetite.

This is the one I call Candy Bar, he is a little toot, tons of fun attitude. Here he learned the joy of peanut butter and stacking wasn’t in his plans.

I call these two Spot and Snow, Spot is a pistol and Snow is very sweet and and lovable. Both have lovely conformation and it is too bad their white faces will keep them out of the show ring.

A nosey bunch for sure they were interested in everything we were doing. That is Firecraker, Frost, Candy Bar, Spot, Big Red and Snow in the background. JR was asleep.

JR says Sheep Dreams everybody, more from pup central later.
Puppy Photos 1st four
Here are some photos of the Pip x PJ pups at 5 1/2 weeks old. These are the 2 red and 2 of the brindles.
Big Red and JR are the boys and Frost and Firecracker are the girls.
The other 3 are pending. We took about 150 shots and of course we only got the ones below.

Puppy Pile!
Here are Pip’s pups. I got to see them tonight. I’ll have more photos tomorrow but I’m posting these for Auntie Leslie.
The Puppy Pile:

I can’t wait to play with them tomorrow in the daylight.
Sky Watch Friday

I’m not much of a morning person. The dogs get me up early but I’m not very aware of my world. Monday morning I saw a glow out the window and was able to catch this color over the back fence. It proved the old saying “Red sky at morning Sailor take warning” We had a big storm come thru later in the afternoon and there was even snow on the Franklin Mountains.

Revenge of the bad elves
Those naughty elves got back at me last night. They broke into my Christmas hat collection and messed with my hats. Just because I made them wear them. It isn’t like I don’t wear them myself.

Luckly none were damaged to badly so I’ll be able to continue to wear them during the holiday season.
