A Frost Report
Hey it’s Frost!
I’m a STAR Puppy! I went to a class my STAR puppy class today http://www.akc.org/starpuppy/about_the_program.cfm. I was a very good girl, I met River the Great Dane and Pearl the Shepherd. The baby Bailey went too but she had to stay in the car. I barked at the dogs but them I quit, and I walked nice and sat like I was supposed too. Next week Bailey and Charlie are going to be going too but I’ll be the STAR.
After the class we went to meet some one called Grandma Janne, she was pretty cool, she said I was pretty, I also met another Frost but she is a big white Akita who is 13 years old. She was ok too. We hung out for awhile the the Momma and Janne talked and talked. There were lots of big yellow noisy trucks working on the street. They were really loud but Bailey and I didn’t really care about them.
After we left Janne’s we went to the vet, but ha ha ha I didn’t have to go in just Bailey and she got poked! Then we came home and Momma worked in Grandma’s yard getting it ready, she says we are having a party on Monday. We all helped her clean the porch and we played in the water hose. Life is good.
I’m sure we will have more fun tomorrow.

Bailey’s Business
Life is not fair, now I’m in solitary confinement with a stupid hat on my head. Where did the good life go? I thought being the baby was a good thing! Whaaaaaa!
A Frost Report
I do not hog the blog! Bailey doesn’t know nuthin, she is just a baby.
We are back from the dog show, Momma says we are staying home for the summer. I don’t know why we have to stay home but I guess there is a reason for it.
I had fun a the dog show and I wasn’t “bad”. On Friday the judge said I was “an interesting puppy” Momma asked him why he said that and he said that I showed flashes of brilliance and the I fell apart. I didn’t fall apart, all my parts where where they were supposed to be. On Saturday I stopped and barked at the big Rotties in the ring behind us, the judge laughed at me and told me to “get those big bad dogs” Momma told him not to egg me on. I saw lots of things to bark at so I did. Momma spent a lot of time telling me to hush and squirted me with the water bottle.
I did have fun playing with the babies and with Omar and Lara and I was such a good girl Momma let me ride in the RV without being in my crate. Only Bailey had to ride in a crate cause she is such a baby.
I the way home from Uncle Harry’s we stopped at a big water place, it was called Elephant Butte, I didn’t see any Elephant’s Butt, I’m not sure what an Elephant is but I’m a dog so you know I know what a Butt is and I didn’t see any strange ones. Momma says it is just the name of the water place. I got in the water it was neat, but nobody else really wanted to get wet. Momma thought Auntie Lindy and Uncle Henry would get in for sure since they are always in the baby pool. But I was the only one brave enough to get in the water. We didn’t stay very long because there was a rude dog there that was on a lead that kept barking at us. Maybe we can go back some time.
Now we are just at home being dogs for awhile, I’m sure I’ll have some news anyway, it is exciting being a dog.

Henry’s retirement
Henry is retired from the show ring. Henry has a lovely pedigree and had a lot of potential as a young dog. He comes from a very slow maturing line of dogs but now at 4 he just hasn’t lived up to his early promise. Henry retires with 9 points including a major.
Henry has been Cerf’ed twice and he is OFA Good. Henry will be neutered in the near future.
Henry will be looking for a new home. He deserves a top dog instead of the 3rd string retired showdog at Solstice.
He will be available to the right home, he is very athletic and has a very sweet nature, he is a sweetheart, we call him Henwy since it fits his personality. Bailey’s Business
Hi I’m Bailey!
Let me say right from the start I like dog shows better than home! Momma says I’m just a drama queen. We went to a dog shows, the first time we rode in the car me, Charlie and Bonnie and we stayed at Daddy Harry’s house and got to play and run together. Then we came home and Bonnie didn’t come. Then Charlie went to Auntie Cody’s house and the next day we went to a dog show again and Bonnie was there! We got to play and sleep together. Then we came home and I was all by myself! I don’t like to sleep by myself so I hollared and howled and cried and finally Momma came at 3:00am and put me in the crate with my big sister Frost and I went to sleep. I know Momma is going to put me back in the puppy pen later this morning and you know what I’m going to hollar again!
I met Wicca the tall and she was nice but this morning I jumped in her face and she growled at me and pushed me over. I hollared and cried alot but Momma said I was a drama queen again because Wicca didn’t even get me “wet” whatever that means, I just didn’t like it. I’m not a drama queen, I’m just a baby!
Dog shows are way better cause I get to see my sister and everybody makes a big deal about being cute, I am cute.
Hopefully I’ll get to write again, Frost always hogs the blog.
Bailey
Passing Scores
PJ completed his Rally Novice title at the Rio Grande KC this past weekend. It was a 1st for me too as I’ve never competed in the Obedience venues. Stoney and I did Agility about 5 years ago and completed his NA but that was the last non show training/trialing I did. We had a good time and will continue with some of the other Solstice dogs and the next level RA.
Along with his passing RN score, PJ has passing scores of some more important things. He passed his CERF and his OFA Cardiac exam. So far we have OFA Hips Good, PRA clear thru line, OFA Cardiac clear, CERF clear and he is a DM carrier. I have the DNA swabs to test for fluff in his coat to send in just so we know.
So PJ is handsome on the outside, good tempered and smart and handsome on the inside. A credit to his family.

The Frost Report
Boy oh Boy! Do I have a report, we went to a dog show!
Before we left I got a bath and my nails done, Yucky!!!
On Friday we all got in the car and drove up to Uncle Harry’s house. I got to ride in the top crate for the 1st time, it was ok, I was next to auntie Lindy and Daddy dog. After we got to Uncle Harry’s I got to go outside with my friends Omar and Lara to play. Momma took Daddy dog and Miss Addy to see a doctor for something call CERF, guess it didn’t involve needles cause nobody said anything bout needles.
When Momma got back she and Uncle Harry sat outside and all of us dogs ran around the big yard, even the babies. Uncle Harry has grass. Then we dogs all went to bed.
The next morning we had to get up really early (well we dogs were already up) and Momma got all dressed up and then she said we had to get dressed too and she used a big blowy thing on me, I didn’t like it at all. First a bath and tonails and then a blowy thing. Yuck! Auntie Lindy and Uncle Henry got blowy too but Daddy dog didn’t have to get dressed up this time. We all got in the van and went to the show and Auntie Cody was waiting for us.
We were waiting our time to start and there were lots of dogs and then some big noise came from over head and some man started singing, I couldn’t see him but I started singing too, the people were trying not to laugh. Auntie Cody was holding us and Uncle Henry was 1st and he got a 4th place ribbon and then it was MY turn, I did very well Momma said and the nice judge lady commented on my flat cheeks (is that a good thing) and my lovely coat texture and then I got a blue ribbon! Then it was Auntie Lindy’s turn, there were lots of girls in her class, Momma said they were all pretty girls but Auntie Lindy didn’t get a ribbon. Auntie Lindy is naked, she doesn’t have lovely hair like me.
After the show Uncle Harry went home and we went to Grandma’s RV and took a nap in the A/C. Momma took Daddy Dog to the Doctor again! This time to listen to his heart, it sounds good they say. We know Daddy dog has a good heart. Then Momma to Daddy Dog over to do Rally. I’ve watched him practice Rally looks easy to me but he didn’t pass his class. Momma said it was her fault and that they got tired and bored waiting because it was 2 hours delayed. I heard that Daddy Dog got to eat Bratwurst.
We then went back to Uncle Harry’s and ran around the yard and then Momma put Bailey and Charile and me in the Van and we went back to the RV at the show and had a BBQ with the Cardi people. It was a busy day!
Sunday we did the same thing again except this time Daddy dog passed his test and not he is an RN which Momma says is not a nurse! We went and packed up our stuff at Uncle Harry’s and Momma put us back in the car but she forgot Bonnie! Momma said not to worry, that Bonnie is staying at Uncle Harry’s and we will see her next week when we go to Colorado for the dog show again.
So now we are at home and Auntie Cody is coming over to pick up Charlie, he will go live with her. I’ll miss Charlie, he is fun to play with but Momma says not to worry because we will see him all the time cause he is going to try and be a show dog too like me! I’ll have to be nice to Bailey tonight since she will be by herself after Charlie goes home.

Swine Flu?
Did my laptop get the Swine? I don’t know but it has a virus and it is in the Hospital with the Geek Doctors. So there will be a lack of blogging until I get back from the road trips to NM and CO.

The Frost Report
Hey it’s Frost!
I know I haven’t had a report in awhile but we have been very busy and Momma’s having issues with her modem on her computer so I can’t report as much.
Guess what! I’m a show dog! I was 6 months old yesterday and now I’m old enough to go to the dog show. We are going to NM this weekend and CO next weekend for dog shows. Auntie Lindy and Uncle Henry are entered too. Daddy is going to do Rally in NM. Momma is happy because there are majors every day. I’m not sure what that means but she is happy about it.
She tells me my job is to have fun and not worry about being the best. I say I don’t have to worry about that because I’m already the best.
Since yesterday was our 6 month birthday, Grandma Polly sent birthday greetings and then send Momma some notes from my brothers Duffy and Java.
This is my brother Duffy, Momma called him JR.
Both Duffy and Java’s people say they are wonderful dogs with great personalities. And Java’s people say he is almost perfect. I don’t know if I like that since I’m the perfect puppy (except for my bad habit of peeing on Grandma’s rug) but I guess he can me “almost” perfect.
The babies are still hanging around, there are only 3 now and Momma says when we come back from NM only Bailey will still be at our house, but I’ll get to see my favorite baby Charlie almost every week since he will live with Auntie Cody.
Auntie Cody is coming to NM with us to the dog show, she has never been to one before. Since I’ve been to one before when I was a baby I’ll show her the ropes.
Well that is all I have time for now. Stay tuned, Momma will be happy when the geeks fix her computer.
